New album finished...

This year, 2011, marks the release of the 5th StoneLake fulllenght album. Recorded, produced and mastered at the swedenbased UMP Studio, we believe this our finest hour up to date, and we can't wait to share it with you. At the moment we are looking for the right label, but things have been rolling since the beginning of the year, so you can expect some more information soon.
"Marching On Timeless Tales" comes packed with 10 new songs:

The songs are not themebased, but written with our ever changing society and world in mind. It is fascinating that we all live on an earth which has seen countless generations. In some extent we live side by side, just in different times. We have many things in common with past lives, and we should really learn from our mistakes to make these precious times count...

Things have been going really great in the UMP studio this winter. Some new and awesome equipment has raised the quality of the music to new levels. Also, in writing the material to the new album a new path has opened that promises an exciting journey for StoneLake, not only in the music, but also lyrically...

With the new album completed it is really great to get feedback from all over the world, old and new fans write to say hello and all this positivity is indeed rewarding in many ways. Recently I upgraded the UMP studio with more quality gear that will enhance the StoneLake sound even further in the future. New songs are being written and we are also booking some new liveshows...

The coverimage shows the transcendence of our musical intentions; that life is an endless journey with multiple stations. Dark and light paths lead here and there, it is easy to stray; when one day is over a new day begins with new choices, new directions.
In the song: "Eyes Of The World" the lyrics go:
"A new day is calling,
the wheels are turning,
conscience leaving without a trace..."
We bid you welcome into this realm of imaginary truths and realities, sheltered by a love for life and creativity...

Last night we had a meeting with André Beckston regarding the artwork and how we should conceptualize the album. We have some very exciting ideas that we are working on at the moment, some that are very new to us, since we aim to venture into new areas regarding lyrics and concepts.
The title of the album is play of words, since according to english grammar, the correct spelling of the word in our context should actually be "unchartered", for example like in: "unchartered waters". The concept of the new album is that one soul, in itself, holds many souls and lives, thus we felt we needed a customized string of words, in this case two, to describe our feelings regarding the songs.
Life is a journey from one point to another, and in this journey we affect the lives of many; some that we are aware of, but also, many that we never know about. Whoever we are, or where ever we come from, we are all the sums of our experiences. Keeping this in mind, and also, reflecting over our strenghts and wishes, dreams and possibilities, truly make life an endless road with unknowns paths...

We are back at UMP Unlimited Music Production Studio in Furulund Sweden for the upcoming release in 2008.
One track is finished, and is titled: "Pain And Hunger", it is a real killertrack! New songs in the works are also:

We are working hard to get a new fresh 11 dimension blastsound that will blow every-thing away.
